2010 SCRRF Fall Classic

Join us for Southern California Regional Robotics Forum’s annual off-season FIRST Robotics Competition, playing the exciing 2010 FRC game challenge: Breakaway. The mission of the Fall Classic is to expand the awareness of FIRST Robotics Competition to students, teachers, sponsors and mentors from all across Southern California, as well as provide existing teams an opportunity to compete with their robotic creations once again. The event is open and free to the public. This year's event will be held in a very modern, air-conditioned venue.

Team Entry Fee:	$150 until 9/17 $200 from 9/18 to 9/24 $250 at the door

Other Event Specific Information: Flyer The first 16 teams to register will be provided pits in the JBHS Main Gymnasium adjacent to the playing field. Pits for remaining teams will be in the Multi-Purpose Room located next to the Main Gymnasium. The only Breakaway rule change is a modification of the “DOGMA” penalty in <G17>. Balls are scored when placed on the ball return (subject to 10-sec end-of-game period). The head referee will assess yellow or red cards for egregious ball-hoarding infractions. The Fall Classic event is hosted by FRC Team 980 ThunderBots. Teams providing key volunteers and assistance in field set-up and tear-down will be given a discount on entry fees. Payment can be made either by Credit Card (via PayPal) or by check payable to SCRRF.
