Directions and Map

Please park along E. Foothill Blvd. Robot loading zone at N. Mills Ave and E. Foothill Blvd.

As usual we will be offering courtesy inspections. This is also a great place for teams that have no room to run their robot to find out just what it will do.

The team registration fee will be:

Event Recap

We had 15 teams at the Scrimmage and gave 13 unofficial inspections. This year we had a scale and found several overweight robots, including one 28 lbs over.

The field was running well. Once we got a robot connected it seemed to pretty much work the entire event and The game seemed to be all about the bridges, but there were only three or four working ball handlers/shooters. So we probably do not have a good sample to work with. The Regional may be very different.

The Harvey Mudd students were excellent hosts. This was the best event yet and they made it happen. Sarah Ferraro, who has been our main contact there for the past few years is graduating. We hope her successor does as well.

There is one usually unsung group that deserves special thanks. The BeachBots store and maintain the field at no cost to SCRRF, this saves SCRRF hundreds of dollars in storage fees. Whenever it goes to an event they load about 2000 lbs on a truck and then put it away when it comes home. Often this is for events they do not attend, like the Scrimmage. They do this cheerfully as a service to other teams.

Many thanks to them and to the teams that brought field elements. This sort of co‚Äźoperation is what FIRST is all about.
