2018 STEAM Day at Dodger Stadium

Hello members of the Los Angeles Robotics Community!

Sunday, September 2, 2018 is the “first” STEAM Day at Dodger Stadium!

The Dodgers created this event to raise awareness about STEAM opportunities in the LA Area, and for area STEAM groups to enjoy a day at the ballpark.

The Dodgers know FRC Team 980 ThunderBots from FIRST Day at Dodger Stadium in 2016, so they asked them to help, and 980 came to us to help reach all our area teams.

What: Dodgers v Arizona Diamondbacks
When: Sunday, September 2, 2018. Game starts at 1:10 pm
Where: Dodger Stadium

The good stuff (details to be finalized):

• Groups will be able to display at an Info Expo inside Dodger Stadium
• Robots on display
• Groups of 20 tickets get scoreboard message
• Be seen on Diamond Vision
• Additional stuff depending on number of tickets sold

AND…

• THERE WILL BE A ROBOT THROWING OUT A FIRST PITCH!!!
  Team 980’s baseball shooter is throwing out the first pitch at approx. 12:45 pm.
  Be there early to cheer!
